Parenting is so hard. It can be really hard to stay regulated when your kids are not. It can be exhausting to try to stay calm when your kids are anything but. It can feel endless when your kids are screaming and you want nothing more than to scream with them

Mantras can be an extremely useful tool to help you find your calm, find your footing, and stay grounded when you are at the end of your rope. By repeating mantras to yourself during difficult moments, you can find a moment of clarity so that you can respond to your child instead of reacting to them.

Mantras can be any short phrases that resonate with you that will help you keep your intentions for parenting at the heart of difficult moments. Finding a few that you can use and writing them in visible spots can be helpful so that you can draw from them in moments of need.
